***NOTICE*** WCCM 1110 AM Salem New Hampshire Off Air…. Hit Hard by 90 Mile HR Winds
Salem New Hampshire’s radio station WCCM 1110 am was devastated and brought down by 90 mile an hour winds that shook the area on February 25th. The Hurricane forced winds brought down a massive tree with electrical cables and a pole. The force was so great that it ripped the electrical service right out of the building. The photos show the access road to the transmitter site blocked by the tree with the wires down. The second photo shows the 125K 3 phase generator that was brought in after National Grid and the stations electricians estimated the station would not have power for days.
